API offers an entire family of integrating spheres suitable for many Photonics applications over the entire electro-magnetic spectrum from .2 to 20 microns. The family of spheres is designed for the most challenging research and measurement applications.

The Integrating Spheres are designed for both utilization with conventional optics as well as fiber optics. They are standardly supplied with the following: ports, internal baffles, and machined plugs.
The spheres are available in standard diameter sizes from 25.4 mm (1 inch) to 500 mm (20 inches), with various internal diffuse coatings according to the customer's requirements, to cover applications from the ultraviolet to the infrared range with near perfect diffused reflection. Special configurations are available to 11 ft. diameter.

API's Fiber Optics Integrating Sphere Modules permit the mating of the output of a fiber optic network, to a detector, or to other fiber optic modules. API's modules also allow for the combination of a number of signals or the routing of signals to other modules. The modules can be matched to your specific applications and instruments. These Integrating spheres can also be used as attenuators.
